DONATION DRIVE FOR DISPLACED KENYANS IN TORORO

Makerere University Campus fm kiswahili news crew are spearheading a donation drive to assist the externally displaced kenyans in uganda.The Campaign kicked- off last friday and end tommorow.They aim to visit the victims on saturday.

According to the organising secretary Mwangi Edward Maina the drive has been met by serious critics and the big rift created by after election violence eminent in campus. Mwangi said," I was amazed some students could say its such and such tribe in the camps so i wont give my donations." However, he promised that his group is doing everything possible to ensure they help in bridging the gap.

The group is collecting clothing, foodstuff and beddings.Their are using posters in their campaign.
